Innovation Seminar - 8th November 2007
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Innovations Seminar and Exhibition, which was to be held at Pera on 8th November, has been cancelled.
Free Innovation Seminar and Exhibition.
The IPHE will be jointly hosting an Innovation Event at Pera's head office in Melton Mowbray. The event will consist of a series of seminars and after lunch there will be several Low Heat demonstrations.

Over an amazing 30% of the heat energy from the waste water is being recovered into the water cylinder. Validation of these results is to continue.

1/7/06
The commercially sized heat exchanger is performing better than expected. A power performance of 4.2kW was expected, but is seeing between 4.6kW and 4.9kW. This energy recovery put simply, increases the cold water feed by an amazing 15 degrees upon entering the water cylinder.

1/6/06
The electronics to control to heat recovery process has been fully specified and designed.

1/5/06
The commercial heat exchanger has been manufactured and to be tested shortly.

A 22% increase prediction in UK energy costs confirms that the ‘Lowheat’ project being set-up and funded by the European Commission is still a great idea, and has huge market potential. EU energy costs are set to follow.

1/12/05
Good progress is on-going with the optimisation on the developed heat exchanger. A heat exchanger specifically targeting the commercial business users is also being established.

1/10/06
Up to 16% of heat energy from the waste water is being recovered into the water cylinder

1/09/05
One of the heat exchangers currently under test has been proven to perform to over 2kW of power performance!
